Thanks for visiting my site!

A little about me.

I’m a New Yorker in a foreign LAnd with a degree in Theatre and History from Northwestern. I can’t get enough of this stuff – movies, plays, shows, you name it.

I was 10 when I had my first real role. Still a soprano and attending all-boys school, I played Lady Jane in Gilbert and Sullivan’s Patience. My mom did my makeup and I felt so very fabulous. It was the time of my dang life. Thusly the bug was caught.

Since then, I’ve worked and taken classes in New York, Stratford (Ontario), Chicago, London, and Los Angeles, among other places. Again, can’t get enough.

What else to say …

During the pandemic, interest in Northwestern’s advanced cinematography courses cratered, opening them to non-film majors. I took every class I could. Typically, these classes would have upwards of 20 students, but when I took them, it was more or less just me. And so began my DP life.

In the course of 6 months that year, I shot 9 projects, one of which gained entry to SeriesFest. Actor-cinematographer. Not the most common hyphenate, but what it lacks in popularity it makes up for in number of syllables.

All that to say … thanks for stopping by! Cheers :)
